SUMMARY

We are seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team at Langier Real Estate Developments. The primary responsibility of this role is managing pest control services across our various properties in Edmonton. When pest control work is not required, the technician will assist our maintenance and renovation teams with other tasks needed to manage the properties. Your expertise will help maintain safe, healthy, and well-maintained environments for our residents and tenants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Pest Control Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pest control methods and safety procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and staff.
• Sales skills are a plus for promoting pest prevention services.

• Conduct inspections of properties to identify pest issues.
• Implement effective pest control measures to eliminate infestations.
• When no pest control work is needed, assist maintenance and renovation teams with various property management tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all pest control and maintenance activities.
• Educate residents and staff on pest prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with property management to address pest-related and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during pest control and general maintenance operations.
