We emphasize that outstanding people are the key to our success.    Location: Austin, Texas and Surrounding Area Position Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday-Friday (Saturdays as needed) Compensation: Starting at $20/ hr. Then commission after first month. Key Responsibilities:   A Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:  * Manage a pest control route day to day operations. * Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections for pests. * Communicate effective solutions for customer needs. One-time to continual maintenance. * Provide estimates timely. * Apply pesticides according to schedule, Safety procedures and label instructions. * Safe and efficient setting and removal of rodent traps, wasp, hornet, and bees’ nests. * Maintain inventory of pesticides, and all supplies needed to perform daily duties. * Continually build your knowledge of pest control inspection processes, procedures, and methods. * Respond to routine customer questions and concerns promptly. * Assist with generating new sales leads. * Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.  * Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.  * Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.  * Use all safety equipment as instructed.  * Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.  * Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.  * Any other Pest Control Technician duties assigned by Manager. Qualifications & Requirements:   * High school diploma or equivalent.  * Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.  * Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.  * Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.   * Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.  * Self-motivated and results driven.  * Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.  * Pass a background check and drug screen.  * Pest Control experience preferred but not required.
