QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and comfort working in various weather conditions.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Sales experience is a plus, as you’ll be instrumental in growing our client base.
• A willingness and ability to network and actively grow the brand in the Terrace area.

YOUR ROLE AS A PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

As a Pest Control Technician in Terrace, you’ll be instrumental in developing our presence in the area. Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing primarily our national clients within a 150km radius of Terrace, requiring consistent driving and travel.
• Inspecting commercial properties thoroughly to identify pest issues and potential entry points.
• Developing customized and effective pest control plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Safely applying a variety of pest control treatments, including pesticides, baits, and traps, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Educating clients on pest prevention techniques and offering recommendations for long-term pest management.
• Maintaining accurate records of all services, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and invoices.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and ensuring the proper handling and storage of chemicals.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry best practices, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with your team members to deliver efficient service and meet client expectations.
• Communicating effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide outstanding customer service.
• Actively incentivized to drive growth and sales by networking within the community and growing the Rentokil/Terminix brand in the Terrace area.
