JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing gentle care to pets that have passed away. The ideal candidate will have a compassion for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have a genuine love for pets.

REQUIREMENTS

• Provide exceptional care and respect for deceased pets.
• Assist families with making cremation arrangements.
• Transport pets using a stretcher (lifting to 65 lbs).
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be a good listener and able to provide emotional support to grieving families.
• Possess a clean driving abstract and a valid driver’s license. Own your own vehicle.
• Be proficient in using computers and have basic office skills.
• Thrive in a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Understand the importance of pet cremation and be able to communicate its benefits to families.
• Be a team player with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Be detail oriented
