Responsibilities
  • Answering multiple phone lines booking appointments
  • Handling client inquiries in-person and over the phone re: their pets and appointments
  • Educating clients about pet care as it pertains to coat maintenance, and various services Purrdy Paws offers
  • Selling retail product and assisting walk in clients as needed
  • Assisting groomers with checking in and out their dogs
  • Assisting with bathing/drying and nail care of pets and giving a hand to groomers where required
  • Organizing paperwork, sending invoices, and taking messages effectively
  • Posting on company social media pages
  • Cleaning of the front retail/reception area of the salon and more….
    Our ideal candidate is a permanent full time employment with room for growth. We are looking for a person who has a passion for a career in the pet care industry and a strong interest in animal health and well-being, as well as strong administrative/reception skills to bring our team together! This position can lead to a management role for this location for the right candidate.
    This candidate will be creative and have new and fresh ideas to bring to the table and have a desire to help grow and expand the business with our fantastic leadership team.
    PLEASE NOTE: Initial training period TBD may be conducted part time at our Glebe location onsite with our operations manager. The role will require the ability to work independently at times.
    This candidate will enjoy working with a diverse sector of pets and their human companions and enjoy an organized leadership type of role within the company.
