Due to the continued growth of our business we have a position available for a full time retail assistant to join our team in our pet shop based in Letterkenny

Job description;

• Learning about our wide variety of products and advising and assisting our customers needs
• Ensure compliance with all processes in regards to our till system, handling of cash, assigned back office tasks, as well as POS guidelines
• Ensure full product availability on the shelves, minimize inventory discrepancies, and maintain high inventory quality and ensuring all products are clearly priced
• Ensuring the shop is an attractive, clean and tidy environment to create a positive shopping experience for our customers
• Ensuring that the animals entrusted to us are well cared for at all times, and that the welfare of the animal comes first

Requirements;

• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
• Efficient and have excellent attention to detail
• Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to communicate well within a team
• Friendly and personable demeanor
• Flexibility; our business operates 7 days a week so you will be required to work 5 out of the 7 days
• Excellent customer service skills
• This is a physical job which requires some heavy lifting so the ideal candidate will be physically fit
