I-MED is pleased to be offering an exciting new role for a PET Supervisor at our soon to be completed, state of the art NM / PET department in Frankston. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor or a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with leadership skills, looking to grow their career and be part of the development of a new PET service in one of the South East’s largest I-MED hospital-based clinics. Reporting to the Area Nuclear Coordinator, this role is Monday to Friday, working 7.6-hour shifts between 7am to 5pm, with no on-call requirements. Part-time role may be considered for a suitably qualified applicant.   What's on offer for candidates: Join us and receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus an additional $5,000 retention bonus after two years of service.    Key accountabilities include: * Performing all aspects of PET including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard * Plan and manage daily workforce and consumable requirements * Work closely with reporting Radiologists to develop clinic services * Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service * Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, radiology staff, hospital staff and managers * Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards Key selection criteria: * Demonstrated ability to perform high quality PET examinations, while also providing support to other Nuclear Medicine staff. * Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to assume responsibilities. * Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff * Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine * Applicants must be AHPRA Registered * Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required Working for I-MED offers you: * Commitment to your continuous professional development (CPD) and career advancement * The shared collective knowledge and support of the Australia wide I-MED radiology network * Latest imaging equipment and continued investment in new technology * Competitive remuneration package with flexible work options * Commitment to your health and well-being, including access to employee assistance program * A range of employee benefits, such as paid parental leave and discounted Health Insurance * An innovative, respectful and welcoming clinic environment united in the pursuit of excellence How do you apply?
