Job Description Responsible for performing Quantity and Quality inspection or Verification of various products and goods in accordance with company standards, legal and client requirements and API/IP/ASTM STANDARDS. Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity. Ensure all the necessary documents, PPE, equipment, and / or other requirements needed to perform the job are complete and prepared before proceeding to the work site. Prepare and submit duly signed inspection report in SGS approved formats with appropriate raw data. Also verify other inspector field reports / findings where necessary. Coordinate with Operations supervisor on schedules and other information pertinent to the job. Conduct inspection or verification work according to company standard, procedures and client requirements or agreed job scope and specifications. Provide feedback and updates on the status or progress of the job to his immediate superior on a regular basis. Prepare and submit complete and accurate inspection documents / reports including properly labelled / sealed samples and raw data of inspections/ witnessing performed. Assist in training newly hired / Trainee inspectors on inspection related works. Sign shipping (Terminal / Vessel) documents as specified by immediate superior. Report instances of non-conformances to the appropriate line management. Intervene when an unsafe act or condition is observed. Qualifications Field experience & strong knowledge in OGC inspection activities as per the standard procedure Good computer skills 2+ years of experience in relevant inspection field within OGC IFIA certification is mandatory
