Description

Do you have an interest in pets and a passion for animals? If so, we would love to hear from you as you could be the warm and friendly Salesperson we’re looking for to join our Downtown Garden Centre.
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to work across our Pets and Aquatics departments focussing on offering our customers excellent service on our of our busiest and most rewarding sales areas, building rapport, interacting with customers, and delivering solutions to the individual customer’s needs. You may also undertake replenishment tasks and other elements of housekeeping as required.
You will be a key team player, with superb communication skills and good levels of self-motivation. A prior knowledge of pet foods and their nutritional content is beneficial, although full training will be provided.
Hours are between 20.5 per week, working up to five shifts a week during store opening times, including weekends during our busiest times.
