You will work with a portfolio of clients and prospects, helping them be more successful on our advertisement platform (Eg. TravelAds) by deepening their adoption, increasing their bookings, and growing shared revenue. In this role, you will Support the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close Help create new opportunities through progress meetings and exploratory conversations that expand customer accounts. Contribute to a territory plan to build and maintain a healthy pipeline, supporting the attainment of quarterly revenue targets. Cover large regional and/or tertiary markets, balancing time and focus across multiple customers and prospects. Begin to identify and present business issues that affect your work and your customers’ outcomes. Gather and interpret data and analytical insights to inform recommendations and address customer needs. Assist in documenting components of a business case for change under the guidance of more senior colleagues. Build a foundational understanding of how the department operates and how it fits into the broader organization. Develop awareness of policies, practices, trends, and market information that impact our organization and our customers. Grow your working knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions by reviewing product literature and contracts, and by learning from peers. Develop an understanding of the contract negotiation process and how to complete contractual arrangements. Develop a basic understanding of your customers’ industries and competitive landscapes. Exchange information and insights in straightforward, data-driven conversations to gain alignment and support from others. Proactively seek guidance from your manager when needed to resolve issues and align on agreements. Experience & qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related commercial role Native proficiency in Japanese Language and business level proficiency in English (any additional language is a plus) Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and build rapport with customers. Growing knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to apply them in a structured way. Ability to interpret and navigate analytical information to support decisions and recommendations. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly competitive, target-driven environment.
