The Department of Political Science wishes to appoint Postgraduate Teaching Assistants in Political Theory for the 2025-26 academic year.
The purpose of this job is to support teaching and learning in our modules, working with the academic module leads through the delivery of small group face-to-face teaching for students taking modules in the Political Science Department.
Main duties of the post include being the in-person seminar leader for seminar/s each week. Expect to generate weekly workshops, provide demonstrations, facilitate discussion and answer questions for material presented in lectures.

POLS0061 – Foundations of Political Thought – T1
POLS0063 – Ethics and Public Policy – T1
The number of hours to be worked each week will be agreed with the PGTA according to their availability but normally up to a maximum of an average of 6h per week over the year, if a current full-time student.
