Wage scale $18.29 -$24.00/ hour based on experience. PharmcareUSA is a national, closed- door, long term care pharmacy business with locations in multiple states. QualificationsJob Summary: The Pharmacy Technician must be certified in those states where a certification is required, and may be certified in states that do not require certification. The Technician will assist the pharmacist in providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to PharmcareUSA clients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Company, current pharmacy practice standards and other regulatory entities. Reports to Lead Pharmacy Tech and/or Director of Pharmacy. Essential Functions: Assist Pharmacist with input (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions Perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities Answer telephone calls, assist caller when appropriate, or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule Assist any walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management Maintain Pharmacy Technician License/Certification Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate Other duties as assigned Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacist by accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions, including compounding when necessary, while adhering to all regulatory standards. Essential duties also involve managing inventory, handling medication returns, and assisting clients and staff both in person and via telephone.
