Description
Position Details: We are currently recruiting for a Pharma Literature Packer to join our Garner, NC team! This individual will play a crucial role in supporting our Bindery (Finishing) department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience manufacturing type of environment; however, we are willing to train!  5:30am-4pm, 4 days a week, schedule rotating monthly between Mon-Thurs and Tues-Fri. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Pack printed pharmaceutical literature materials efficiently and accurately. * Use ruler measurements, and basic computer and math skills. * Inspects all finished products to ensure quality integrity prior to being prepared for shipment. * Follow safety and quality procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality products. * Work as a team member to meet production standards. * Prepares all finished products for shipment which includes boxing, taping, labeling, preparing a packing list, shrink-wrapping and banding when necessary. * Work in other areas in manufacturing as needed. * Knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) * Assists in clean up and keeping work area neat and orderly. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices. * One or more year(s) experience in a bindery, shipping, or packing role preferred. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk. * The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
Responsibilities
The Pharma Literature Packer will pack printed pharmaceutical literature materials efficiently and accurately while ensuring quality integrity before shipment. They will also prepare finished products for shipment and assist in maintaining a clean work area.
