JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Data Product Analyst to join our pharmaceutical team, focused on optimizing our Patient Health Information (PHI) Hub platform. You will work closely with the Business Product Owner and cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Patient Provider data across the platform.
This role requires a detail-oriented quality control mindset, with a strong understanding of data flow, platform integration, and cross-team collaboration. The successful candidate will act as thedata gatekeeper—monitoring, validating, and questioning how data is being pulled, structured, and managed—particularly through Salesforce, our CMS of record.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4–10 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in apharmaceutical or healthcare data environment.
  • Recent experience working with PHI or patient-level data is strongly preferred.
  • Strong data quality and validation skills; comfort acting as a QA gatekeeper across data pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and how CMS data flows into broader platforms.
  • Ability to engage and question technical teams to ensure proper data implementation.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Previous work on pharmaceutical data platforms, patient support services, or healthcare marketing technology.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and privacy standards for PHI data handling.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and digital product workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Quality Control & Data Validation
  • Serve as the primary quality control agent for patient and provider data entering the PHI Hub.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the Business Product Owner, data engineers, and Salesforce administrators.
  • Translate business needs into technical validation tasks and data requirements.
  • Journey Evaluation & Optimization
  • Analyze the patient and provider journey within the PHI platform to identify data quality gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve the data experience and patient engagement flow.
  • Salesforce CMS Oversight
  • Monitor and validate how data is surfaced and managed in Salesforce.
  • Ensure that updates or enhancements to Salesforce do not compromise data quality or reporting.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain clear documentation on data sources, validation protocols, and quality checks.
  • Report data issues, trends, and progress to internal stakeholders.
