Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise in medication administration and knowledge of anatomy will be essential in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Duties:
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide medication counseling to patients, including information on dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patients’ medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Conduct medication reconciliation to prevent medication errors
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceutical research and advancements
Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Prior experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
