JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, able to work in a busy environment and collaborate with our team of doctors and clinic staff.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is required.
  • Compounding experience (topical creams) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability in medication administration practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
  • Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety, making recommendations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers in acute care settings to develop and implement patient-specific medication plans.
  • Provide pharmaceutical care in pediatrics, ensuring age-appropriate dosing and administration.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management strategies related to their medications.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacotherapy and hospital protocols.
