We Are Hiring Location: Tulsa, OK Facility: Ascension St. John Medical Center Department: Pharmacy Services Schedule: PRN - Days - 7a-330pm What You Will Do Ensure Patient Safety: Review medication orders to catch and prevent drug-related issues, ensuring patients receive the correct medication, dosage, and administration. Manage Pharmacy Operations: Supervise technicians to maintain an accurate and efficient workflow for preparing, storing, and dispensing medications. Control Costs: Recommend less expensive, but equally effective, formulary alternatives to help the hospital manage medication expenses. Educate and Inform: Serve as the drug information expert and provide education to medical staff and patients, sometimes mentoring pharmacy students. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
