Job Summary:
Medicare Chemists are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacist Branch Manager to lead our team.
The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff, and deliver care to our customers. This role requires a strong leader with a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy practices, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy branch, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians, dispensers and trainee pharmacists.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous training and development opportunities.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Check prescription medications accurately and in compliance with UK laws and regulations.
  • Offer expert advice and consultation to patients on medication use, side effects, and potential
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Promote and manage pharmacy services and wellness programs.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
    Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of UK pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and drive business growth.
