About the Role DeliverIt Group is urgently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to accurately interpret, prepare, and dispense medications, counsel patients on drug interactions and side effects, and manage pharmacy inventory. This role is ideal for a clinical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a direct impact on patient well-being and operational excellence. Requirements Key Responsibilities Review, interpret, and fill prescriptions for accuracy, safety, appropriate dosage, and potential drug interactions. Advise patients on medication usage, storage, side effects, and general health inquiries, including MTM. Administer vaccinations (e.g., flu shots) and provide, or assist with, medication therapy management. Direct pharmacy technicians and interns in mixing, packaging, and labeling medications. Maintain inventory, manage controlled substances, and ensure strict adherence to state/federal laws, including HIPAA. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient drug therapy and safety. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh). Active Texas Pharmacy Board License. Experience in community marketing and healthcare outreach (required). Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and compounding. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with pharmacy systems (PioneerRx, MatchRx) and Microsoft Office. High attention to detail, strong integrity, and a patient-centered mindset. Spanish proficiency encouraged.
