Description

Gateway Pharmacy, a family-owned independent pharmacy serving the Surrey community for over 25 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacist for a flexible part-time or full-time position (32+ hours/week).
Opening hours are Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm, closed Sunday and holidays.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative community practice and primary care setting as we partner closely with an integrated team of physicians at our neighbouring clinic. We have a fully staffed pharmacy at all times, allowing full day pharmacist overlap on most weekdays, and between 2-4 assistants everyday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating prescriptions for appropriateness and accuracy
  • Providing counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient care
  • Supporting daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists
  • Injection certification

Desired Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-focused care
  • Experience with pharmacy computer systems (WinRx preferred but not required)
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is an asset but not required
