Description Job description: Job Overview City Wide Pharmacy is a small community retail pharmacy located opening a new location in Aurora, IL. Our pharmacy cares about quality customer service. We are looking for a pharmacist in charge willing to work full time, Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm but available for licensing and onboarding at this time. Job Responsibilities and Tasks: - Processing and Verifying Prescriptions - Ordering and Restocking Medications - Counseling patients regarding their prescriptions and any other questions - Having excellent communication skills, Amazing Customer Service is Essential - Compounding Medications - Working with patients to get the cheapest price possible for them - Calling and answering all physician questions - Training new staff (i.e. Technicians, etc.) Basic Qualifications BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution. Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Arizona Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist preferred in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
