About the Role DeliverIt Group is urgently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge to conduct daily pharmacy operations, ensure medication safety, support patient care, and uphold compliance with all regulations. This role is ideal for a clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a direct impact on patient well-being and operational excellence. Duties & Responsibilities: These include, but are not limited to: Ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with State board of pharmacy and federal regulations (DEA, HIPAA, etc.). Supervise pharmacy workflows, inventory control, and maintain adequate stock while reducing expired drugs. Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate pharmacy technicians and staff pharmacists. Perform traditional pharmacist duties, including prescription verification, patient counseling, and medication therapy management. Manage drug budgets, inventory accuracy, and assist with payroll and financial reports. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy required. Current Texas Pharmacy Board License required. Experience in community marketing and healthcare networking is required. Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands, etc. Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office and Pharmacy information systems (e.g., PioneerRx, MatchRx, etc.) Exceptional organizational skills are required. Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach are required. Meticulous attention to detail is a must. Integrity and compassion are required. Ability to administer vaccinations in compliance with best practices. Knowledge of pharmacy procedures, including medication storage and recalls. Ability to create compound medication for individual patient needs. Proficiency with medication therapy management (MTM) to educate patients on their prescriptions. Familiarity with best dispensing practices. Proficiency in any of the following languages is highly encouraged: Spanish
