Full-time – 40 hours per week (Pro-rata arrangements may be considered for the right candidate) Salary: £56,000 per annum We are recruiting three full-time Pharmacist Independent Prescribers to join our growing online pharmacy team. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week based in our Glasgow office and the remainder working remotely. The Role As a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, you will deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient prescribing within a digital healthcare environment. You will work in line with in-house prescribing protocols and clinical standards set by our Senior and Lead Prescribers, applying sound professional judgement to every prescribing decision. You will take ownership of your own prescribing performance, including clinical quality, efficiency, and compliance, and will actively engage with feedback, audit outcomes, and learning opportunities to support continuous improvement. The role plays a key part in delivering positive patient outcomes while supporting the operational needs of the business. Key Responsibilities Independently assess and prescribe for patients in line with risk assessments and in house prescribing protocols Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and decision-making Prescribe safely, evidence-based, and within scope of competence Escalate clinical concerns appropriately to Senior or Lead Prescribers Use audit, efficiency, and error data to reflect on and improve prescribing practice Contribute to a supportive, high-performance prescribing culture What We’re Looking For Essential: GPhC-registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber qualification Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail Commitment to patient safety and high clinical standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced online setting Desirable: Experience in online pharmacy or digital health Familiarity with audit-driven or protocol-led prescribing environments If you are a patient-focused Pharmacist Independent Prescriber who values clinical quality, accountability, and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
