Description

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Al Ain. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with UAE Ministry of Health and DOH – Abu Dhabi regulations, and providing professional advice on the safe use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D from a recognized university.
  • Valid DOH Pharmacist license (or eligibility).
  • Freshers with DOH eligibility will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English is must.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Customer service-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, potential drug interactions, and patient safety.
  • Counsel patients on proper use of medications, possible side effects, storage, and lifestyle advice.
  • Maintain proper stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and manage expiry dates.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH and UAE regulations regarding controlled and non-controlled drugs.
  • Monitor and report any adverse drug reactions as per DOH guidelines.
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient medication records.
  • Supervise and guide pharmacy assistants or technicians when required.
  • Stay updated with new medicines, medical devices, and pharmaceutical industry trends.
