The role involves dispensing medications, providing expert advice on health and wellness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Dispensing Medications: Accurately dispense prescriptions as per doctor’s instructions while ensuring proper dosage and administration. Patient Counseling: Provide guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to improve health outcomes. Customer Service: Address customer queries, recommend over-the-counter (OTC) products, and promote health and wellness. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local pharmacy regulations and company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, check for expired products, and assist in procurement. Health & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, following all safety and hygiene protocols. Insurance & Billing: Process prescriptions through insurance claims and handle billing efficiently. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D). Valid [SCFHS] License. 1–3 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting (Fresh graduates may also apply). Strong knowledge of medications, OTC products, and health supplements.
