Description
Description ObjectiveHealth is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide as-needed support for investigational product preparation at our clinical research site in Sparta, New Jersey. This role is responsible for the preparation, compounding, and oversight of investigational drugs in accordance with study protocols, pharmacy manuals, GCP, and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a pharmacist seeking flexible, PRN work (anticipated 2-3 hours/week) in a clinical research environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, compound, and mix investigational products per study protocols and sponsor requirements Ensure proper storage, labeling, dispensing, and accountability of investigational drugs Maintain accurate and complete pharmacy documentation, logs, and temperature records Comply with FDA regulations, GCP, DEA, and site SOPs Support study initiation visits, monitoring visits, audits, and inspections as needed Communicate with study staff regarding IP preparation and administration requirements Ensure safe handling and disposal/return of investigational products Qualifications: PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school Active Pharmacist license in good standing – New Jersey Board of Pharmacy Experience with sterile compounding preferred Prior clinical research or investigational product experience preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work independently and respond on an as-needed basis Requirements This job requires legal authorization to work in the US.
