Description

This a PRN float position that is based in Palm Coast and will provide coverage in St. Augustine, Palm Coast and Daytona Beach. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES * Fills prescriptions accurately and efficiently using a computerized pharmacy system. * Follows all rules and regulations set by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. * Assures adequate and unexpired medications are stocked, properly labeled and inventoried. * Conducts patient education/counseling necessary for pharmacotherapy. * Serves as preceptor for pharmacy interns. * Maintains inventory that is both cost effective and does not inconvenience patient. * Keeps medical staff informed and researches answers questions related to drug therapy in a timely fashion. * Supervises existing and new pharmacy staff on an ongoing basis that includes training and education CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES * Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida

Responsibilities

The pharmacist fills prescriptions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulations. They also conduct patient education and supervise pharmacy staff.
