Description

The Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year post-graduate residency program in an institutional practice setting that provides training as set forth and approved by the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). The program will provide the opportunity to advance the resident's pharmacy practice beyond entry-level professional competence and develop the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary for the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care. Required qualifications: * Graduated from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited college of pharmacy * Upon hire: Texas Pharmacist Intern License. Or * Upon hire: Texas Pharmacist Student Trainee License. Or * Upon hire: Texas Pharmacist Extended Intern License. Or * Upon hire: Texas Pharmacist Registered. * Within one hundred and twenty (120) days of hire, or as outlined by program policies, whichever is sooner: Texas Pharmacist License.
