Description Job Summary: As a PRN Pharmacist, you will be responsible for helping oversee the distribution of medications to our patients. Your duties include communicating with local physicians to determine the type of medication and dosage for a customer, taking inventory of pharmaceutical drugs to reorder them based on local demand and interacting with pharmacy customers to give them their prescriptions and answer medication questions. Requirements Qualifications A Doctor of Pharmacy is preferred. Experience in the following is preferred: The retail pharmacy setting, medication therapy management (MTM), vaccinations, and third-party rejections. Basic knowledge of non-sterile compounding is required. Vaccination certification is required. Exceptional communication skills are required. Experience with PioneerRx and/or MatchRx computer software is preferred. Education in Rph or PharmD is required. Duties & Responsibilities: These include, but are not limited to: Dispense medications according to the prescription from doctors, etc. Maintain a current knowledge of all medications. Maintain a current knowledge of pharmacy legal issues. Communicate with pharmacy staff and the PIC about matters concerning drug usage, drug interactions, and refunds. Sell non-prescription drugs according to company policy and multi-state board of pharmacy regulations. Proficiency in any of the following languages is highly encouraged: Spanish
