About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team in Comox, BC. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, patient-focused environment with strong support from pharmacy assistants. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate dispensing, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the operational success of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense 300–500 prescriptions daily with the support of a skilled assistant team.
  • Provide comprehensive medication counseling and professional services (e.g., medication reviews, immunizations).
  • Maintain inventory control, including ordering and monitoring stock levels.

Ensure compliance with federal/provincial regulations and pharmacy standards (e.g., Controlled Drugs and Substances Act).

  • Foster positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the community through health initiatives (e.g., clinics, public health days).

Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
  • Experience in a retail/high-volume pharmacy setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills 613.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
