This job maintains and coordinates the medication ordering process for assigned areas to ensure that the most cost-effective products are utilized. Works with personnel involved with the operations for the distribution of medication, analyzes systems and operations of the departments via quality control measures in order to identify and rectify problems. Maintains order templates to ensure contracts are up to date for ambulatory clinics.

EDUCATION
Required - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Preferred - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
Post-doctoral residency or fellowship
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required - 3 years of Pharmacy Practice, including 1 year of Purchasing Contracting experience
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)
