UPMC Hamot is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support variable day and evening shifts with occasional nights; every third weekend and rotating holidays required. Preferred candidates bring acute care hospital experience, familiarity with EPIC EHR, and strong clinical communication and problem-solving skills. In this role, there is opportunity to: Interpret and evaluate physician orders and prescriptions accurately Identify and report adverse drug reactions in a timely manner Sustain formulary integrity via therapeutic interchange and rational drug use Review patient medication profiles for allergies, interactions, and duplications Organize daily operations and support pharmacy staff supervision Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify medication orders Provide drug information and educational sessions to staff and students Utilize EPIC and other systems to document and verify medication use Prepare and dispense intravenous admixtures using aseptic techniques Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards Required Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy B.S in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Current licensure as a Pharmacist in practicing state Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Pharmacist Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
