A WHN Pharmacist is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for preparing, dispensing, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. They review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care. A WHN Pharmacist also manages medication inventories, ensures compliance with laws and regulations, maintains accurate records, and may provide clinical services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and health screenings. Their role emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and adherence to professional and ethical standards. Requirements Requirements & Skills: Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program. Licensure: Active Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing. Key Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical and mathematical skills, and excellent communication for patient education.
