The Omnicell / Pharmacy Application Coordinator is responsible for projects and optimizations for the client’s Omnicell system and other pharmacy applications. This role involves leading the design, configuration, testing and go-live support for Pharmacy non-Epic 3rd party systems like Omnicell to ensure its alignment with business needs and efficient integration with Epic. The coordinator will oversee project estimating and planning, including providing best practices around system and workflow optimization, ensuring data integrity and system stability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as an IS administrator in pharmacy applications
  • Minimum 3+ years as an Omnicell software administrator
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a client-facing IT analyst role
  • HS Diploma / GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree

Responsibilities
  • Provide project support from design through hypercare utilizing Agile and/or Adaptive project management methodologies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an application project plan with detailed approach and timeline; configuration and risk management plans; status reporting and change control processes.
  • Support PMs with proposal creation (scope, risks, etc), success and performance metric establishment, detailed design document creation, deliverable approval, service request creation, issue and risk identification and project progress reporting.
  • Escalate and resolve issues and risks.
  • Provide work tasks to offshore analysts.
  • Follow up on any user connections needed by offshore.
  • Facilitate lessons learned and formal stakeholder surveys.
  • Validate and monitor cost and resource estimates.
  • Minimize/eliminate overhead activities.
