REQUIREMENTS

You will be a registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council and have completed an Accredited Checking Technician course and a Dispensing Technician NVQ 3 course or equivalent. You should have recent experience of working in a community pharmacy and previous experience of checking MDS. You should be well organised, capable of managing a skilled team and have good communication skills.

THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a full or part-time ACT to join our pharmacy team in Ashington Way Pharmacy, West Lea, Swindon SN5 7XT.
Working pattern and hours can be discussed.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

To check dispensed patient prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
To follow and promote relevant SOPs and company policy and procedure to always ensure patient safety.
To work collaboratively with pharmacists and other members of the dispensing team to ensure the efficient and safe running of the dispensary.
