QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Understanding of pharmacy billing and reimbursement procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of insurance plans and prior authorization processes is beneficial.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in pharmacy, healthcare, reimbursement, or office administration is preferred.
- Proficient in using relevant software and databases, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process pharmacy claims for accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Collaborate with insurance companies, pharmacy staff, patients, and drug providers to assist in resolving reimbursement discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clinics, and medication providers.
- General administrative duties including answering/transferring phone calls, drafting emails, sending faxes, and ensuring smooth office operations.
