SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy and Optical Assistant to join our team at Werrington Pharmacy and Opticians in Peterborough. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent patient care, contributing to our commitment to health and wellness.

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
• Assist with medication administration under pharmacist supervision
• Educate patients on medication usage and health products
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
• Support daily pharmacy operations and workflow
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• 25 hours per week including Saturday
• Able to deliver excellent, friendly customer service working in a very fast-paced, stand-up job in a productive setting.
• Multitasking which is a necessity for the majority of the time.
• Very quick learner and fast-paced worker.
• The work will also involve assisting in our opticians department.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
