Position SummaryWorking alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, you will support prescription processing, medication preparation, customer service, and daily pharmacy operations while helping ensure patients receive accurate, efficient, and friendly service.

This position offers the opportunity to further develop your pharmacy experience within a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on quality patient care.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesProcess prescriptions and accurately enter patient information into the pharmacy management system.
  • Prepare, package, and label prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
  • Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily pharmacy operations.
  • Assist patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Process third-party billing and insurance claims.
  • Assist with medication packaging and blister packs as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and stock levels.
  • Follow pharmacy procedures, regulatory requirements, and privacy standards.


  • QualificationsPrevious experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience within a community or retail pharmacy environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Kroll or other pharmacy management software is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative pharmacy team.
