We are an independently owned and operated pharmacy proudly serving all of Kelowna, Lake Country and the surrounding Okanagan area. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding (both Sterile and Non-Sterile).

JOB DESCRIPTION: PHARMACY ASSISTANT (COMPOUND LAB SCHEDULER)

At Dyck’s Pharmacists we are innovative problem solvers that focus on finding a suitable solution for every one of our patients. Everyday we make creams, suspensions, capsules, suppositories, lip balms and much more.
We are looking for a full-time pharmacy assistant to help patients in person and over the phone book their medications into our compounding lab. This entails booking the patient an appointment time and communicating information about specific compounds including expiry dates, physical properties (e.g. taste and feel), and cost.
All necessary training would be provided.

COMPENSATION WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE INCLUDING THE INDIVIDUALS ABILITY TO CLEARLY AND THOROUGHLY COMMUNICATE IN PERSON, OVER THE PHONE, AND VIA EMAIL.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough documentation
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task
  • Basic computer skills (Kroll experience is an asset)
  • Problem solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
