Island Pharmacy’s Cowichan Valley locations are looking to hire a full time pharmacy assistant to join our team! Computer efficiency and positive attitude are imperative for this position. Experience required for this opportunity.
Experience and Monday to Saturday availability is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities:

• intake and dispensing of prescriptions
• using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
• ordering medications and medical/pharmacy supplies
• maintaining and counting inventory
• receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries
• selling over-the-counter medicines and front store items
• answering customers questions face to face or by phone
• preparing, packaging, assembling and labelling medication
• handling and processing till transactions
• general cleaning and housekeeping
• referring problems or queries to the pharmacist or pharmacy manager
• additional duties when necessary

Wage will be based on experience level.
