Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Assistant role located in Kuala Lumpur. The Pharmacy Assistant supports daily pharmacy operations, including assisting with prescription processing under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, preparing and labeling medications, and organizing pharmacy shelves. The role involves providing courteous customer service, answering basic medication-related queries by referring to pharmacists when needed, and handling phone calls with professional etiquette. The Pharmacy Assistant helps manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, receiving and checking supplies, and ensuring products are stored and displayed properly. Additional responsibilities may include operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining cleanliness in the pharmacy, and following company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Ability to assist with prescription-related tasks and basic pharmacy operations under professional supervision.
  • Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a helpful attitude.
  • Professional phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
  • Experience or aptitude in inventory management, including stock checking, organizing, and record keeping.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are beneficial.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or retail environment is an advantage.
  • Relevant certificate or diploma in pharmacy assistance or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
