Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy is a group of pharmacists who are dedicated in helping you achieve your health-related goals. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and detail oriented pharmacy assistant to join our team.

This is a full-time position, 4 days a week 10:00-8:00pm and every other Saturday 10:00-4:00pm.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong command of the English language
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
• Pharmacy Assistant/Technician Diploma Program OR Canadian retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with Kroll software (recommended)

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• accurately input prescription information, fill and dispense medications, cashing out patients/customers
• helping and communicating with patients/customers for their prescription and OTC needs
• filing documentation and record maintenance
• inventory control and reconciliation
• ordering and receiving prescription and OTC stock
• compliance packaging
• basic computer skills such as word processing
• maintenance, organization, and any other pharmacy and pharmacist supportive functions
• cleaning, and ensuring orderly pharmacy work environment
