We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Community Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, provide excellent customer service, and assist with daily pharmacy operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Process prescriptions accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and pharmacy protocols.
• Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves, checking for expired products, and assisting with stock management.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions, including insurance claims and payments.
• Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, prescription filing, and data entry.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure and hygienic workplace.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals and prescription processing (training will be provided).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems (preferred).
• A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Education & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Pharmacy Assistant certification (preferred but not mandatory).
