We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at The Compounding Pharmacy of Manitoba. As a pharmacy assistant you will support the compounding and shipping teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the preparation of compounded medications.

- Measure, mix, and package medications according to established formulas and protocols.

- Maintain accurate records of all compounded prescriptions and formulations.

- Ensure proper handling, labeling, packaging and storage of compounded medications.

- Maintain inventory in relation to compounding and shipping as necessary.

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory guidelines and safety protocols at all times.

- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and productive workspace.

- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, staff, healthcare providers, and patients.

- Ensure the delivery of medications are packaged appropriately and accurately with efficiency.

- Perform other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations as necessary.
