We are currently looking to hire a Pharmacy Assistant/Registered Technician .. This position offers great hours with a competitive wage and benefits where you will be working in a team environment. Lakewood Guardian is a fast paced environment, and must be able to work under pressure. Job Description: Collect patient information and inputting prescriptions. Preparing prescriptions( vials, compliance packaging, daily dispensing etc.) Understanding third party insurance claims. Maintaining adequate inventory control , communication with customers and directing them to the pharmacist when appropriate. Exceptional customer service is a must. Experience Minimum requirement: Preference will be given to Registered Pharmacy Technician or Previous Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant with experience using Kroll will be considered an asset.
