URGENT Looking for a Pharmacy Assistants in the Scarborough area to start ASAP AND WORK UNTIL THE END OF June.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team as soon as possible until the end of June at our client’s pharmacy. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position from 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM. They are offering the weekends off to the successful candidate. There is a possibility of work extension as well.

Your duties may include:

  • Assisting the pharmacist in entering prescriptions into the prescription software & filling/billing such prescriptions
  • Counting pills and labeling medications
  • Assisting the pharmacist in preparing required infusion supplies for delivery of medication
  • Packaging medications to be sent out
  • Assisting the Pharmacist with their other daily duties

Qualifications & Skills

  • One-year Canadian experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
  • Experience using the pharmacy software Kroll is a requirement
  • Excellent communication skills- reading, writing, verbal
  • Able to work well under supervision and with a team
  • Great attention to detail
