We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team starting ASAP until the end of September 2025 + Possible extensions + chance of extension at our client’s pharmacy. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position from 9 am to 5 pm. They are offering the weekends off to the successful candidate. There is a possibility of work extension after August as well.

Our client’s pharmacy is a well-known Canadian non-retail pharmacy chain. Our client is a specialty pharmacy that supports patients with chronic illnesses and rare diseases. They provide access to complex drug therapies. Rest assured that you will be working with an excellent team in a non-retail setting! The system this Pharmacy uses is Kroll.

Responsibilities

Assisting the pharmacist in entering prescriptions into the prescription software & filling/billing such prescriptions
Counting pills and labeling medications
Assisting the pharmacist in preparing required infusion supplies for delivery of medication
Packaging medications to be sent out
Assisting the Pharmacist with their other daily duties
Qualifications & Skills
One-year Canadian experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
Experience using the pharmacy software Kroll is a requirement
Excellent communication skills- reading, writing, verbal
Able to work well under supervision and with a team
Great attention to detail
