About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and caring Pharmacy Assistant to support our busy community pharmacy. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our pharmacy, helping customers with their health and wellbeing needs while also assisting with key retail and pharmacy support tasks.

Hours of Work

This position offers 30+ hours per week, with flexibility around the roster for the right candidate.

Hours will fall between 8:30am–6:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am–1:00pm Saturday.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Deliver friendly, personalised customer service and assist with OTC product recommendations
• Build strong relationships with our customers and local community
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy
• Manage stock, ordering and supplier enquiries
• Work with sales representatives and assist with promotions and new product launches
• Maintain merchandising, displays and planograms
• Assist with invoices and accounts payable entry
• Support the dispensary and packing team when required
• Take pride in maintaining a well-presented, organised and welcoming pharmacy

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Comfortable with computer systems (training provided where needed).
• Pharmacy experience desirable but not essential—Full training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Clearance, Working with Vulnerable People check, and NDIS Worker Check (support will be provided if you don’t already hold these).
