JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy staff in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills and prior experience in a pharmacy or retail setting is a plus. Applicant must have good written and oral communications skills. Must be prepared to work irregular hours with potential for full time.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy assistant or experience working in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing medication inventory and patient records.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized inventory of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring that medications are stocked and stored properly.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing their needs with professionalism.
• Support medication administration by preparing prescriptions for review by pharmacists.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
