Morpeth Pharmacy has two Pharmacy Assistant positions available. One position is for a Part-time Dispensary Technician and the other is for a Casual Pharmacy Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to further develop their skills in a community pharmacy environment. The successful dispensary candidate will have a particular focus on dispensary support and the preparation of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs), while also contributing to the broader day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The Casual Pharmacy Assistant role would suit an individual with some pharmacy experience and with enthusiasm to learn.
Key responsibilities: Dispensary Technician
· Providing support to pharmacists and pharmacy staff in the dispensary
· Preparing and assembling Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) accurately and efficiently
· Assisting with the dispensing workflow and prescription processing
· Providing professional and friendly service to patients and customers
· Assisting with stock management, ordering and general pharmacy duties
· Maintaining a high standard of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
· Ensuring pharmacy work areas are maintained to a clean, safe and professional standard
· Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
Key Responsibilities: Pharmacy Assistant
